The Celebration of Life

 The reception after a funeral, often referred to as the Wake, is your special time to be with the people who matter most to you. It’s a special chance to connect with friends and family you may not have seen for years, share personal memories and support each other.

 In the first days and weeks after a bereavement, you’re doing your best to try and stay focused while breaking your sad news to friends and family, working with the funeral director and coping with your own grief at the same time. With all that going on, it’s completely normal for organising the gathering after the service to feel like one thing too many. 

That’s where I come in. For more than 25 years I’ve organised events and looked after people, making sure everyone feels welcome and nothing is left to chance. I’ll bring all that experience and care to your gathering, creating something as personal and unique as the eulogy itself.

I’ll take care of everything from start to finish, including:

• Suggesting venues
• Arranging catering
• Planning and creating your memory table
• Providing a personalised memory book and encouraging guests to write in it
• Being there on the day so it all runs smoothly

As I’ll already know your family and your loved one’s story, there’s no need to explain everything twice, and the whole day will feel connected and true to them, just as it should.
